Action Points

Grassroots. If we are going to be successful in moving Wisconsin forward on greatly improved quality of our workforce at all levels, greatly improved social justice and mobility, and keep our nation much stronger in this current Cold War, we need all of our family, friends, community and Wisconsin citizens to understand STRETCH enthusiastically and so share.

Governor and legislators. Per the suggested message to the Governor, we must get our leaders to act.

Referendum and/or legislation. With enough of our politicians committed, assure the related laws that are passed actually contain the three essential points of STRETCH. (PISA tests for all participating districts, teacher certifications with substantial pay increases, and the global WI scorecards for all of us citizens to track progress).

Political and citizen will. Then perhaps the most difficult part, assure our great state pursues the STRETCH efforts and goals for some 20+ years until we all enjoy real and successful results.
